Reinvent the wheel
I often spot an emotion in myself that tries to restrict me from writing and sharing by labeling my thoughts as too obvious or trivial.
And perhaps the cause is also lies in endless stream of information around me. Just as in the past, a human could feel insignificant when entering a Gothic cathedral, I feel similar way when I am overwhelmed with information from all sides.
The past lack of available knowledge based on low quantity was replaced by information overload with somehow similar consequences? As a human being, I feel need to understand the world, at least little bit. And I don't mean searching for some absolute truth, I rather think of some mental framework, which doesn't have to be completely accurate, but fruitful in the interaction between me and the world.
Fruitful in the sense that it does not kill every thought that seems trivial, but rather gives it room to grow. Regardless of how advanced the world seems to be today.
Don't be afraid to reinvent the wheel.
